When function dictates form — RICHARD MILLE

A shared interest in cycling between Richard Mille and four-time F1 world champion Alain Prost provided the inspiration for the 2017 RM 70-01 Tourbillon. Following extensive discussions with Alain, as well as other cyclists, Richard Mille realised that many of them would be hard-pressed to say how many kilometres they had ridden since the beginning of their seasons. The RM 70-01’s never-before-seen totaliser remedies this by displaying the overall distance travelled—a clever complication mounted onto a very compact titanium tourbillon calibre. Machined from Carbon TPT®, its case perfectly combines tonneau, rectangular, and asymmetrical shapes.
