Richard Mille RM 65-01 Automatic Split-Seconds Chronograph kombinerar automatisk uppdragning med en kronograf med släpvisare, även kallad rattrapante, som gör det möjligt att mäta två tidtagningar som startar samtidigt men stoppas vid olika tidpunkter. Composed of 600 ultra-thin layers, each no more than 45 microns thick, the quartz fibres that make up the Quartz TPT® of the RM 65-01 are saturated with a special resin developed exclusively for Richard Mille. The layers are then stacked, with each one rotated 45° from the previous, creating a distinctive visual texture. Once heated to 120°C and compressed at 6 bars, the material is ready to be machined into the brand’s signature tripartite tonneau case.
